What is a concept plan?

A concept plan is a base line plan that gives you an idea to start with. Our conceptual plans include scaled floor plans and exterior elevations. These plans are not intended for submittal and construction without additional details and information required by your local building authority for issuance of building and zoning permits. You may present these plans to your builder, Home Designer, or Architect to develop your finished design plans.
You can also work with K.B.West Design to finish your plans, before taking them to your builder. When you work with K.B.West Design to finish your plans, you will receive working and submittal plans including structural design, foundation design, finished sections and details ready for submittal in your building jurisdiction. We can work with you and your builder to develop a submittal plan package for your project. Florida, California, and Hawaii may require additional local design professional submittals along with our plans. If you purchase a concept plan through K.B.West Design, we will discount your fees to have us finish out your plans!
